Who are we?

We're a dynamic and agile South London-based company with a background in street gardening.

Whether it's a larger transformation or a small project, we're happy to help.

What makes us different?

We have a strong focus on climate resilience and longevity. We favour hardy, low-maintenance plants that can survive in our increasingly hot and dry weather.

We look for solutions to resourcing maintenance. Maintenance is often underfunded in the public realm, and the plants decline after a year. If local people are engaged with the space and are invited to get involved, greening can flourish long after installation. We know the joy plants can bring. Our work helps people connect with and care for their local green spaces.

Our approach is holistic. We consider:

  • How people use the space (shortcuts, footfall)

  • Ways to reduce littering and vandalism

  • The goals of nearby residents and businesses

We are interested in behaviour change. We support our greening work with strong communications and engaging visuals that highlight and celebrate the benefits of urban greenery and biodiversity.

A bit about us

Kim (our founder) began community gardening in 2020 with the Open Orchard Project, sparking a passion for sustainable urban greening. Since then, she’s led street and business greening projects around West Norwood, turning neglected spaces into vibrant, low-maintenance gardens that can thrive in a changing climate

With a background in TV production and charity project management, Kim brings hands-on street gardening knowledge and solid project delivery skills to every green space.

She’s especially inspired by gravel gardens, resilient planting, and is committed to providing women with more opportunities to work in horticulture.
